My name is SGT. M. Hahn Louisiana Army National Guard.  I have been living as a resident of Houma Highlands for a year and a half now.  What brought me to this complex was the community and the feel of a neighborhood, something a lot of apt complexes do not offer.  The security of a gated community is also a plus, no worries of vandalism to your vehicle or property.  The management staff is very understanding and friendly they make you feel like a friend rather than just a tenant.  Also, for those of you in the military, Houma Highlands offers a $100 a month discount off your rent as a showing of their great appreciation your service to the state and the country.  I have lived in both one and two bedroom apartments here.  They are both very spacious and very clean.  That is another point this complex is probably one of the most cleanly kept complexes I have ever lived in.  In short I don’t think I could have found a better place to live in the surrounding area.

Why I like Houma Highlands Apartments?
Well, first because have a strategic position in Houma within a very good school district. The apartments itself are of a very good size and the staff always hands on. The complex is oriented for families with kids.

We have been residents of Houma Highlands since March 2009.  Our experience here as residents has been very pleasant, from the process of paperwork to moving in, the staff has been very helpful and made us feel very welcome.  We feel like we are part of a community, not just a resident.  The property is always well maintained and very clean, not to mention all the extra amenities Houma Highlands offers, like the state of the art exercise room, media center, walking tract, car wash and swimming pool.  We feel Houma Highlands provides to their residents, which is something we have not experienced with other complexes.  The special events allow the residents to meet each other, make new friends, and get to know their neighbors.  We will not have any problem referring Houma Highlands to anyone.

My family and I moved to Houma Highlands after our apartment complex burned.  We were stressed and worried about where we would go. We walked in and the office staff at Houma Highlands was wonderful.  The welcomed us in, started the process to get us in and offered any assistance they could to make it a quick and smooth transition. In addition to the staff, we love the family environment of Houma Highlands.  They are kid friendly yet it is quiet and peaceful living. The staff is always available and assist when problems arise although problems are few and far between. I would recommend Houma Highlands to anyone!
